Bamboo it’s the material that I will always be in loved with. Here working with “Escuela Para La Vida’s” team making a guadua stand for Petronio Festival in Cali. The process started by producing technical drawings and later on cutting, welding, painting and assembling all the pieces. The first challenge was to draw the technical information taken from a 1:10 prototype of paper and wires, then understanding how to weld all the steel structure. The client was very satisfied with the job and it’s still used in many festival in the city. The guadua wasn’t paint to conserve the beautiful natural colour of the material, we just applied natural oil.
